The
West Wing
is an apartment in a fine Grade II listed
Victorian Country House, originally built for Major
General Robert Owen Jones in 1849. It has been restored and lovingly maintained by
the present owners, keeping many of the original features.
The house enjoys an elevated position
overlooking Lake Bala and has 9 acres of private woodland and
beautiful lawned gardens, which guests are free to enjoy. Sample the peace, tranquility and clean fresh air. Bird-watchers will appreciate the variety of species to be observed and fishermen will find the area to be a paradise with its mix of fly and coarse fishing available on lakes and rivers. see http://www.balawales.com/angling |
