Who are we?

Bala Adventure and Watersports Centre is a private, friendly and flexible Centre based on the shores of Bala Lake, the largest natural lake in Wales. 
Our modern ways of thinking have developed the Centre considerably over the last few years. Within this website you will find relevant information relating to all activities, including prices. If however you do not find sufficient information please call the Centre or e-mail us.

Our Staff

Our staff members are continually training and developing their own skills and qualifications. Their commitment to the Centre and their own sport means that our clients will benefit from their enthusiasm to introduce others through taster sessions or technical coaching. Our staff includes National competition winners and World Championship Gold Medallists. These talented people enjoy sharing their skills and experience with you.

We welcome customers old and young alike. 

Over the last few years the Centre has developed the activities and the range of technical courses available. Our dedicated staff team will be the familiar faces from your last visit ensuring continuity and a friendly training environment.

Safety is paramount and we are constantly monitoring our safety procedures. The Centre is recognised by the Royal Yachting Association 
( www.rya.org.uk ), British Canoe Union, and the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority who regularly inspect the facilities. You can be confident that "safe activities are fun activities".
