Ty Hen

Ty Hen means “Old House”
and we have so named this cottage because it would have been the original
dwelling four or five hundred years ago. It is a single storey house now
but would have originally had people in crog lofts
upstairs and animals downstairs. However, we believe that authenticity can
be carried too far! so we have omitted the animals whilst using some of
the old original roof timbers to ensure that the ambience of times gone by
is preserved. Our guests love the lounge and dining room, both of which
have timbered walls and are very attractive rooms.
Sleeping arrangements are catered for in one double and
one twin bedrooms.
Cooking in the kitchen can take a
long time if you spend too much of it gazing at the beautiful view from
the window while you prepare the meal!

This view can also be enjoyed
from Ty Hen’s patio and what better way to spend a summer evening than in
this magnificent setting, with a glass of wine and good friends.
