Hafod Las is a delightful airy cottage adjacent to the main house of Pen Cefn and has the benefit of double glazing and electric storage heating with supplementary heating if required. This makes it suitable for all year round holidays and, as with all our cottages, all electric and heating is included in the tariff.

It is all on ground level with an entrance through double French windows to the front from a paved path and patio. All the doors open two ways and are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair comfortably. There is an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area with a magnificent view down the Dee Valley to Bala and the lake in the distance. The double doors open onto the patio where you can relax in beautiful surroundings while you enjoy a glass of wine!

The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of cupboard space and work surfaces and a full size frig’ and freezer, the floor has a tiled non slip surface.

The shower room has a walk-in shower, permanently attached folding shower seat and grab rails. The toilet which is raised, has a fold away support rail and the wash hand basin is slightly lower than average to accommodate wheel chair users.

The bedroom has a double bed with above bed wall light. There is a switch for both this light and an additional switch for the main light beside the bed. Another light with shaver point is above the dressing table. There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space.

This cottage is particularly suitable for wheelchair users, the elderly and, indeed any body with mobility problems. However, it is equally suitable for able bodied guests and we can always find room for a cot for baby.
