LOCATION:
Felindre is approximately 6 miles from the historic market town of Bala, in the small village of Llanuwchllyn, at the head of Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid).

Here you can enjoy splendid views which are second to none, overlooking the lake as well as the Aran and Arenig mountains.

The accommodation at Felindre comprises:

• 1 Family room with a double bed, 3/4 bed + room for either another single bed OR a cot.

Both rooms are now en-suite and feature original beams in both the bedrooms and bathrooms. They are tastefully decorated and furnished. Each room has a television and a beverage tray.

There is a comfortable lounge which guests are welcome to use, complete with a traditional wood burner.

WHAT TO DO:

Local attractions are plentiful, you can choose from Ten pin bowling, walking, cycling, fishing, and of course watersports such as CANOEING, WIND SURFING AND WHITE WATER RAFTING all nearby.

Within walking distance of Felindre is a charming narrow gauge steam railway which affords splendid views as it travels the length of the lake, and you can walk to the foot of the Aran mountain, a challenging experience awaits, or just a pleasant walk if that is what you prefer.

EATING OUT:

There is an inn in the village, which is only a pleasant walk away, serving excellent home cooked food, or if you prefer an evening meal at Felindre can be provided - with prior notice please.

OUTSIDE:

There is ample safe off-road parking for our guests and there are drying facilities and bike storage if required.

We are located a few hundred yards off the road, and there is a good tarmac drive to the property. We have lawns and a  paved area for you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity offered by Felindre as well as savouring the delightful views.
